We'd love to meet you.
Walking into a church for the first time can feel like a lot of unknowns. This page covers the basics so you know what to expect before you arrive at Calvary in Tahlequah.
When and where
Our Sunday service begins at 10:30am at 1005 E. 1st St. in Tahlequah, Oklahoma 74464. The service runs about an hour and a half. If you'd like time to get settled before worship starts, plan to arrive a few minutes early.
What your first Sunday looks like
Worship comes first. We sing a blend of timeless hymns and new worship songs, led by a live band. After worship, a pastor shares a message from the Bible, and we close with time to pray together.
You won't be singled out or asked to do anything uncomfortable. Just come and enjoy the service. If you'd like, stop by after the service and say hi. We'd love to meet you.
What to wear
Come as you are. You'll see everything from jeans to Sunday best, and jeans are absolutely welcome. Wear whatever makes you comfortable.
Bringing your kids
Kids have their own age-specific classes during the service. Each class is built for the age it serves, so children learn about Jesus in a safe, fun environment that fits where they are. You'll find more about our children's classes on our Kids page.
No pressure on your first visit
You don't need to decide anything on your first Sunday. Come, listen, and see whether Calvary feels like a place where you could belong. Most people visit more than once before they feel at home, and that's completely normal.
If you have a question about any part of your first visit, reach out before Sunday and we'll help you plan.
