About Calvary

Every generation. One church family.

On a Sunday at Calvary, you'll see grandparents worshipping a few rows from toddlers, and teenagers serving right alongside people who've followed Jesus for decades. We believe the church is better with every generation in the room.

We're especially passionate about young families and the next generation. That means kids' classes for every age, a place for parents to grow, and a church that's investing in what God wants to do in Tahlequah for years to come.

Wherever you are in your faith journey, there's a seat saved for you.

Our mission

Calvary exists to help people in Tahlequah know Jesus and grow in their faith, with a heart for young families and the next generation.

Our pastors

Arlis and Dottie both grew up in Tahlequah and actually met here at Calvary. After years of ministry, they came home in 2023 to serve as lead pastors of the church that shaped them.

They love this town, they love the people of Calvary, and they can't wait to meet you.

Our story in Tahlequah

Arlis and Dottie's connection to Calvary goes back to their own years growing up in Tahlequah. They bring that history with them into every conversation about the church's future, and they're committed to walking alongside the people of this town.

Calvary's ministry is shaped by the people who worship here. Families, young adults, longtime members, and newcomers all have a part in what the church becomes next.

What we believe

Calvary is part of the Assemblies of God. You can read our core beliefs in the Statement of Fundamental Truths.

Come as you are

You don't need to dress up, know the right things to say, or have it all figured out. Most people who visit us are looking for a place to belong, and that's exactly what we hope you'll find here.
